Special Education

Saint Paul Music Academy provides a variety of quality special education services with a staff of dedicated teachers and assistants. We believe in using student’s strengths and helping each child reach their full potential. We always strive to provide the best learning environment for all children.
Students qualify for special education services after a formal evaluation determines they meet state criteria for an educational disability. The school and special education team can provide services to address needs identified in the areas of: Specific Learning Disabilities, Speech and Language, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Other Health Disorder (due to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder or other health condition), Emotional Behavior Disabilities, Developmental Cognitive Disabilities, Deaf/Hard of Hearing, and Physical Impairments. Students under the age of seven can receive special education services in the category of Developmental Delay. Other related services are provided as needed.
