Overview

Hello. My name is Ms. Thao, I am your child's English language teacher. Children are our future. Students and families are important to me. Support from home for education is immense in the work I do. I love the fact that our students come from many different cultures with many different languages spoken. I also speak a different language in Hmong.Thus, to be a part of the diversity at school is immense. My multilingual/second language acquisition learners are valuable to me. I wish them success and achievement in their education this year as we study the English language. Let's have a wonderful school year! Thank you!

Education & Family: I have my Master's Degree in Education from the University of St. Thomas, K-12 English as a Second Language. In my free time, I like to spend it with my family. My husband, son, and I live in Oakdale, MN. We have a responsibility from our culture in Hmong customs to take care of our elders, parents, and to participate in extended family events. I keep a flower and vegetable garden at our home.
